Athletic Registration Checklist
Participation in Eagle Athletics begins with completing the required registration steps. Completing these steps ensures that every student-athlete is prepared to participate safely and successfully.

Commitment, Accountability & Academic Excellence
Academic Eligibility for Co-Curricular Activities
Participation in Eagle Athletics and all co-curricular programs requires students to maintain strong academic performance. These standards ensure that student-athletes succeed both in the classroom and in competition.
- Grade checks will be made at three-week intervals throughout the school year. Dates will be posted. In the event that a team reaches the playoffs, grade checks will be made weekly for that team.
- Students who receive a Warning of failing any class at grade check will be placed on probation. This probation will begin on the school day following notification.
- While on probation, students may be held out of games, shows, banquets, competitions, and/or conferences until passing all classes.
- The student will become eligible immediately after submitting a passing grade report to the athletic director using the Grade Clearance form.
- The Grade Clearance form will be required for each event until the following official grade check confirms passing grades in all classes.
Semester failures will allow students to participate in turnouts/practices but will restrict participation in games, events, shows, banquets, conferences, and/or competitions for the following durations:
- One (1) failing grade: 2-week restriction
- Two (2) failing grades: 4-week restriction
- Three (3) failing grades: 5-week restriction
If the student is passing all classes, he/she will regain eligibility on either the 3rd, 5th, or 6th week of the new semester.
