Join the JPII golf program

Be part of a program where student-athletes develop their golf skills while building the focus, resilience, and character to succeed on and off the course. JPII Golf challenges players to compete, grow, and learn to approach adversity with a “next shot” mentality.

Building Golfers. Developing Resilience.

A Program Focused on Growth and Character

Golf challenges athletes both physically and mentally. At JPII, the program emphasizes controlling what can be controlled, moving forward after a difficult shot, and approaching the next opportunity with confidence. The goal extends beyond developing stronger golfers; student-athletes learn emotional resilience that can serve them in athletics, academics, and everyday life.

JPII’s golf program builds on a successful summer program that gave students the opportunity to play courses throughout the region. The inaugural season begins with the first official practice on March 1, 2027.

Meet Our Coaches

JPII’s golf coach, Jonathan Sprouffske, brings experience building successful high school golf programs from the ground up. Prior to joining JPII, he launched boys and girls golf programs competing at the 2B level. During the programs’ first three years, his athletes earned 17 district appearances, eight state appearances, three individual district championships, one district team championship, and five top-three district team finishes.
